REVIEW
“. . . L.C. ‘Good Rockin’ Robinson [was] one half of the great Robinson Brothers (along with harp-blowing- older bro A.C.) and the most electric performer on the West Coast blues scene for 25 years. . . One thing that separated L.C. from other bluesmen was that he was a stunning multi-instrumentalist. Besides playing guitar and blues fiddle, L.C. was also the master of the lap-steel guitar. . . this Arhoolie album will remain as the best document available on the great L.C. Robinson. . . absolutely mandatory listening for all fans of real blues.”
