Description
County CD 3511 / This, the 2nd in an ongoing series of anthologies devoted to early commercial rural recordings of the South shows some of the riches to be found in the Volunteer state between 1925 & 1930. Lovers of old-time string bands will find a bunch of gems in these 18 tracks here that feature stellar performances. Fine notes by Charles Wolfe, good sound and photos of almost all the bands highlight this super collection.
