CD 458
Joe Falcon opened a new era in Cajun music when he recorded commercially the song, “Allons a Lafayette.” That was in 1928, and Cajun recordings have been made ever since. This CD was recorded live in 1963 at the Triangle Club in Scott, LA. capturing all the passion and atmosphere of a real Cajun Fais-do-do. Mrs. Falcon, who plays drums also sings several songs. The late, great Lionel Le Leux is on fiddle.
