Arhoolie’s Newsprint Tabloid. Very Good. Hard-to-find tabloid devoted to folk and other vintage music. R. Crumb’s cover incorporates ten cameo drawings, three photographs and spectacular lettering. Condition is Very Good, some slight yellowing from age, light edge wear and light corner creases. 11 in x 17 in. 60 pp., two color cover on newsprint.tanned edges.
This initially appears to be a promotional vehicle for Arhoolie Records as it’s published by Chris Strachwitz. But, it’s just jam packed with all kinds of stuff including material on other labels. The cover was designed by Robert Crumb.
