Born in 1931 in Sarita Texas Tony de la Rosa went on to become one of the legends of Texas conjunto music contributing major changes to the music and establishing himself as one of the true giants of the genre. After actively playing dances for over 30 years and making hundreds of records Tony de la Rosa was inducted nito the Conjunto Music Hall of Fame in 1982. the recordings in this collection include his first and best-remembered hits.
